Policy and Communication Associate

Jane Doyle joined Woodstock Institute as a Policy and Communication Associate in 2021. She assists with Woodstock’s policy advocacy and government relations work at the local, state, and national levels, as well as the development and implementation of strategic communications plans.

Prior to joining Woodstock, Jane worked as a policy strategy intern at Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago. There, she advocated for policies that support and create opportunities for affordable homeownership, particularly for Black and Latinx communities on Chicago’s South and West sides. Jane has a passion for policy advocacy and nonprofit work that is rooted in equity and community, and her other past internships include the Human Rights Campaign, Chicago child welfare agency Child Link, and the immigration law clinic at Latinos Progresando.

Jane holds a Master of Urban Affairs degree from the Public Policy program at Loyola University Chicago. She also earned a B.A. in Spanish and a B.A. in Sociology from Georgetown University.
