Janice Guzon joined Woodstock Institute as Research Associate in 2019. Janice is responsible for technical assistance requests and data management. As part of the research team, Janice also helps produce research reports and develops and disseminates data for Woodstock Institute’s online Data Portal and interactive mapping tool.
Janice has previously worked as a research and business development consultant at Capital One, where she did financial reporting and provided organizational policy guidance. Prior to this, she worked as an economic development consultant for the City of Naga, Philippines, where she conducted qualitative and quantitative research with low-income populations. Janice also aided in the development of the General Social Survey for the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago, and has experience in behavioral economics research from her time with the Science of Philanthropy Institute.
Janice earned an M.A. in Urban Planning at the University of Southern California, and a B.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
