Woodstock Institute recently signed on to a letter led by the National Consumer Law Center (NCLC) commenting on the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Mortgagee Letter 2021-18. The comment letter applauds HUD for providing access to mortgage relief due to economic hardship from the COVID-19 pandemic and provides further guidance on factors to consider during implementation of those relief programs.
