Woodstock Institute co-leads the Illinois Community Reinvestment Act Coalition with Housing Action Illinois. The coalition submitted a letter with 32 organizations signed on to comment on the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation’s (IDFPR) Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPR) on the new Illinois Community Reinvestment Act (IL CRA). Among other comments, the coalition underscored the importance of using IL CRA to combat the effects of redlining and racial discrimination in mortgage lending and spur meaningful reinvestment in communities across the state.
