Summary 

This report described East Humboldt Park, 32 square block neighborhood three miles northwest of Chicago’s Loop and adjacent to one of the city’s largest and loveliest park. The newest and largest segment of the population is comprised of Puerto Rican residents, many of whom have been previously displaced from other Chicago neighborhoods (Lincoln Park, Near West Side, New Town, Wicker Park, etc.) and from other parts of the East Humboldt Park neighborhood.
