Woodstock Institute’s 2018 Annual Report: Data-Driven, Community Centered Financial Systems Reform

  • In collaboration with consumer advocates, Woodstock worked to get the Illinois Check Cashing Fairness Act passed.
  • Woodstock proudly added a print version of the Chicago Community Lending Fact Book to its digital portal so that local community groups have better access to the information they need to monitor home mortgage and small business lending in their communities.
  • On the national level, Woodstock worked to support protection for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which is threatened by roll backs of critical and hard won consumer protection regulations.
