Woodstock Institute has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information-gathering and dissemination practices for this website.

Our site’s email sign-up form requires users to give us contact information such as name and email address. We use contact information from the sign-up form to send the user our electronic newsletter and other information about Woodstock Institute. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below.

We will not give or sell your email address to other parties.

This site contains links to other sites. www.woodstockinst.org, and Woodstock Institute, is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of other websites.

Our site uses donation forms from donors to support our work. We collect the donor’s contact information, such as email address. Contact information from the donation form is used to send acknowledgements, donation receipt letters, and information about Woodstock Institute to our donors. 

The donor’s contact information is also used to get in touch with them when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. 

Woodstock Institute partners with PayPal to securely process online payments, and credit card information that is collected is used to charge the user donations. These transactions are subject to PayPal’s Privacy Statement

We have enabled the demographics feature in Google Analytics, which allows us to gather demographic information in aggregate. We do not and cannot identify individual users with this information. If you wish to opt-out, Google provides instructions here.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We use Constant Contact for our email communications, which allows you to opt out of communications.

Anti-Spam Policy

We do not send emails to people who do not have a relationship with our organization. This relationship can start in the following ways.  The person:

  1. Opted in to one of our email lists at one of our sites, at one of our partner sites, or at an external event where they clearly signed up to receive our email communications.
  2. Made a donation to Woodstock Institute.
  3. Purchased a ticket for one of our events.
  4. Entered a drawing or contest either online or in-person at a live event.
