We released research on disparities in mortgage lending to women, Chicago-area foreclosures, data collection on vacant buildings, eliminating payday lending, and more. We celebrated a huge advocacy victory as Governor Pat Quinn signed a bill eliminating asset limits for recipients of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). We commented on bank mergers and important rules impacting the affordability of student loans and mortgages. Many of you also celebrated our 40th anniversary with us at a research symposium and bash.
Please join us for our annual holiday reception to celebrate all we’ve accomplished together in 2013. This year’s reception will be hosted at Mars Gallery in the West Loop neighborhood in Chicago.
