Summary
This report discussed that under contract with the Northern Trust Bank of Lake Forest, the Woodstock Institute had prepared residential lending data reports for the service area defined in its Community Reinvestment Act statement. These reports include residential lending data for banks, savings and loan associations, and mortgage companies in fifty-one census tracts located within the CRA area of Northern Trust Bank of Lake Forest. This data is compiled from the bank and savings and loan association disclosure reports required by the federal Horne Mortgage Disclosure Act and from mortgage banker disclosure reports required by the Illinois Residential Mortgage Licensee Act. This report contained a list of data information showing that the lending data for banks and savings and loan associations was tabulated from HMDA data compiled by the Federal Reserve System. The data for mortgage bankers was tabulated from mortgage banker data files compiled by the Illinois Department of Savings and Loan Associations.
