Summary
The purpose of this report is to provide an in-depth analysis of the Centennial Loan Fund and to draw from that analysis the organizing considerations and action steps appropriate for replicating a loan fund to serve as an alternative to traditional sources of capital and credit for churches. The report responds to specific tasks, as outlined above, and culminates with three sets of recommendations. The first set of recommendations are directed to the Loan Committee of the Centennial Loan Fund and are based on the operational policies and lending guidelines of the Fund. The second set of recommendations highlight the positive aspects of the Centennial Loan Fund and their replicability in establishing other loan funds. The final set of recommendations are directed to Inspired Partnerships and offer specific considerations and action steps to responding to the capital and credit needs of local churches.
