Summary
This report for Inspired Partnerships, a project of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is devoted to addressing the problems of churches in maintaining their buildings so that these buildings can continue to serve as centers for community life and congregations can focus on their much-needed ministry and service. In December 1990, Inspired Partnerships contracted with Woodstock Institute to research the availability of sources of capital and credit for churches for building repairs, to identify barriers that congregations face in accessing those sources of capital and credit, and to make recommendations on programmatic actions that could eliminate some of those barriers and make resources more readily available. This publication reports the results of that research.
