Summary 

This report described “Shopping for Energy Conservation in Multi-family Housing” a one-day seminar designed by the Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT). The purpose of the Seminar is to provide a practical and effective method to stimulate energy conservation financing in Chicago’s neighborhoods, especially on older multi-family buildings. The objectives of the seminar are 1) to have the participants achieve a common understanding of the costs, methods, and financing necessary to energy conservation; and 2) to establish the initial linkages among the participants as a basis for future negotiations for work and financing.
