Summary 

This report is one of a series of Woodstock Institute reports which systematically examine the residential lending of all banks, savings and loans associations, credit unions and mortgage bankers in the Chicago metropolitan area. This report draws on a database unique to Illinois, which provides information on the census tract location of all FHA, conventional single-family, home improvement and multifamily lending made by all metropolitan mortgage bankers from 1980-1983.
